I originally made these colors as just the letters, but discovered that it was very difficult to put them up on the board. Then I was going to use neutral colors, but the only big pieces I had were pink. Oh well. It's good for identifying colors and letters. You don't have to use it with Baby Bear Sees Blue, but the kids really loved reading off the letters along with the book.
